Lazy students?

Generation Y: Lazier than our parents?

“Being a student is like being on the dole, except your parents are proud of you,” – it seems this humorous expression has become as clichéd and over-used as some old classics like “look before you leap,” and “you get what you give.” Whilst some people would shrug off its stereotype of students who indulge in all day lie-ins and hangover’s that last weeks as pure exaggeration isn’t it true that clichés become clichés because they are true?
