The new season has brought with it a plethora of new make up trends and I wouldn’t say that they are all worth a go.
TRY: orange lipstick.
Unless you want to look like an 80’s throwback, avoid bronzer or brown eye makeup when wearing it. Instead, go for winged black eyeliner and clear skin for a modern, fresh look. Avoid cheap brands as they are drying and often sparkly and go for a MAC one. It’s worth it as this is a look that, if suits you, could be a staple for years to come.
BUY: grey/brown nails.
They sound depressing, but they are actually a really classy, quirky shade to wear. Good high street greys can be found at Barry M and 17, but the true catwalk brown/grey is only available from Chanel. I say stick to cheap and cheerful because this trend will be over before your nail varnish has even chipped.
AVOID: temporary tattoos.
Lots of designers sent models down the catwalk sporting temporary tattoos and body art. Chanel have brought out a £40 box of beautiful 3D looking fake tattoos, but they really aren’t worth it. Even the designer temporary tattoos remind me of the ones that used to be free in boxes of candy cigarettes.
