Returning to Liverpool’s city centre for it’s 11th year, Sound City has announced its biggest and boldest line-up to date.
Consisting of over 100 artists performing over the weekend of the 5th and 6th of May, it is the urban ignition of the British festival period. And what a lineup it is has to offer this year.
Headlining the Saturday are the Britpop-spirited, Aussie trio DMA’s, who we caught live at Plug in Summer last year. They join the glitzy-guitar quartet Peace who will be closing the weekend and who brought the house down at our very own Foundry in March for Topman on Tour with NME.
The remaining ocean of talent playing over the bank holiday weekend include the highly acclaimed and highly bonkers pop group Superorganism, Birmingham boys Jaws, and our Steel City’s fiery newcomers Redfaces. See the full lineup below.
Sound City takes over Liverpool’s historic Baltic Triangle and markets. It is set to return to its roots this year, promoting the city’s flourishing underground scene, and the thriving music of the North.
