Unfortunately a list of names means nothing without anything more on who the candidates actually are and why they are qualified. Of course, I hesitate to add to that “and what they stand for” since their party bosses in Westminster tell them what they stand for, but nevertheless (and this is coming from a former Borough Council candidate) the whole idea of voting for someone who you know absolutely nothing about to be your “representative” feels extremely hollow. Not that this is Forge Press’ fault. A list of meaningless names is, unfortunately, the best that can really be done.
