Varsity 2010 began yesterday, with matches taking place across Sheffield. Uni competed in swimming, cycling, golf, canoe polo, cricket, waterpolo, BMX cycling and Korfball.
Hallam beat Uni in Men’s canoe polo with the final result standing at 6-4, and in Women’s canoe polo 9 nil.
Uni also missed out at winning points at the women’s water polo, but scored 8-7 in a turnaround victory during the men’s water polo.
Hallam also won the men’s seconds cricket match, with Uni just missing out on points.
Uni also won points in Korfball and sailing, with Hallam winning points in all the other activities. Will Uni be more successful today? Watch this space for today’s results in Lacrosse and Rugby.
