Varsity: Day 3 headlines

University of Sheffield 16-10 Sheffield Hallam

The University of Sheffield continue to hold a six point lead after Friday’s Varsity events.

On the day both teams picked up three points, Uni took the women’s canoe polo, men’s water polo 8-6 in a thrilling encounter, while they finished the day by taking the trampolining point at All Saints School.

Hallam had started the day with a 115-105 triumph in the swimming, as well as picking up a further two points in the women’s water polo and men’s canoe polo.
