Sheffield Anti-Trump Protest

Thousands of people took to the streets of Sheffield to protest against Donald Trump, following his travel ban.

Trump’s anti-Muslim agenda has sparked outrage across the world as residents of seven countries have now been denied access to the United States.

As the first foreign leader to visit the President, all eyes are now on May to see if she will retaliate to the blocking of people from Syria, Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Libya, Sudan and Somalia from entering the US.

We went to the streets of Sheffield to interview some of those protesting, to find out what their thoughts were on the newly-elected President of the ‘free world’.

Just four days after Prime Minister Theresa May visited the White House a petition has emerged, in a view to stop Donald Trump from attending his state visit of the United Kingdom. Already with over 1.6 million signatures, his visit is due to be debated in Parliament.
