Sheffield United manager, Chris Wilder, said he expects more from his side following the 0-0 draw against 10-man Sheffield Wednesday and felt it was a fair result.
The lifelong United fan now wants his Blades side to push on in the second-half of the season, and believes he has seen enough from his side to believe they can mount a challenge for the play-off places.
He said: “I am a bit disappointed. We have not shown enough quality.
“I thought we played okay to well but okay to well doesn’t win you matches.
“A draw was a fair result and I congratulate the opposition because they ran around and competed.”
The Blades sit just inside the play-offs ahead of the weekend’s fixtures and have wholly impressed since their promotion to League One last term, but Wilder knows they can improve on their already remarkable start.
“Their goalkeeper’s made a great save and our goalkeeper’s made an even better one to stay in the game,” he added.
“I want us to be more than okay. We got anxious and lacked that quality.”
